A huge supernatural upheaval has caused many horrific monstrosities to emerge, making this land far more perilous than ever before. Way out West, far from government, with nothing more than a single telegraph wire or stage coach linking communities to the outside world, the only law is the gun. Under funded and under resourced, only a handful of lawmen struggle to combat the many horrors that now inhabit the barren places of the big country. Strange new minerals have drawn many to the frontier in search of their fortunes. Setting
It is the year 1887 and Corpseville is a fictional county set in the Colorado Territory and the third judicial district under Deputy U S Marshal Patrick K Duffield, concurrent town sheriff of the town of Corpseville. The authorities in Denver have recently become aware of Marshal Duffields disappearance along with several other private citizens. Marshal James T Raynor is looking for men (and women) of substance and grit to join him in Corpseville in an attempt to reconcile these disappearances and bring any perpetrators to justice.
